In recent years technology has expanded considerably the range of media available to support learning. Learning and development professionals have new tools at their disposal to support self-study, live online events, collaborative distance learning, knowledge sharing, assessment and simulation. Many of these tools provide significant advantages in terms of flexibility, access, cost, timeliness and environmental friendliness. What’s more, they are easy to integrate alongside existing methods and in some cases require very little in the way of specialist skills. It is becoming increasingly vital for every trainer to engage with new media and to take full advantage of the opportunities available. To help you and your organisation get started, we have created a free guide for you to download and have also created a short workshop for you to run in house for your L&D staff.
